Angela Marie Ruggiero (born January 3, 1980) is an American former ice hockey defenseman. She is a member of the International Olympic Committee. She served as an ex officio member the Executive Board of the IOC from being elected the Chairperson of the IOC Athletes' Commission, the body that represents all Olympic athletes worldwide, a post which she held from 2016 to 2018.[1][2]

I find that I've tried to become a better hockey player every year and not just hold on. At the same time, I've also made it a point to increase or grow in some other area of my life. If I were just playing hockey, I would probably be done with the sport.
